How could they?) But we (players, moderators and developers), all do our best to work as a team, and perpetually hope for the eventual success we usually attain. (Nor can players generally know exactly what needs to be provided. It's not always easy to have immediate and absolute answers, simply because we rarely have all the information that’s needed. Also, that “i get out of range on my monitor” we now know (from your above comment) was a computer-generated box that showed “Out of Range”, and not some fluke you personally observed from your monitor. For example, I was supposed to understand that your screen went black from your original comment, even though you neglected to mention it. and commonly through a series of back and forth responses to additional queries and replies. The alternative is to say nothing at all, and that is not acceptable to the many players that have come to us for assistance (many of them repeatedly) on approximately 1,000 issues and questions (so far.) Fortunately, by giving our best efforts, and the players providing additional information, and their own ideas based on our efforts, ideas and suggestions, we're usually able to achieve satisfactory results. Regrettably, unless we're sitting in front of your computer, much of what we say will always be a "best guess". Please do not comment less you have die-hard facts to help and not guesses. It should default to launching in a smaller window, at least. I'm also going to open a bug thread about this - the game should not fail to launch initially if the screen resolution is not among its presets. The second value will prevent the game from changing your monitor's resolution and will launch it in a window. The res value of 45 is 1024x768 - should be small enough to fit on your screen. Modify the following lines to the values below (should be around line 700): Locate your settings file here: c:\users\\documents\Zaccaria_Pinball. Likely this has to do with 1250x1024 being a very unusual resolution (is that actually the resolution of your screen, or did I misunderstand?)Įither way, let's try editing the settings file to display values that are likely supported: It sounds like the default display settings are out of range of your screen (that is, either the resolution or the refresh rate is beyond what your screen can display). Knowing what you see may help identify the issue more precisely. In a perfect world, this should display the entire table. This is easily reversed, but I think it may help clarify the problem. Please let us know what how your problem has (or hasn't) changed. (This is a shortcut to eliminate many variables associated with viewing tables while within ZP.) When the table (and menus) open, please launch OPTIONS. I'd like to try something, and perhaps you can take screenshots of the issues you encounter while making the attempt (or if you can't perform these steps, let us know at what point problems start): Surely someone with more technical knowledge will arrive soon, but in the meanwhile, perhaps we can gather some more information that will be of additional value. When you say "out of range", can you please be more specifc? It sounds as you you may mean that the table does not display entirely, but I'm not sure in what manner.
